Blue Crew

Somebody got her Blue Crew package in the mail.
We are excited for Royals baseball!

Stud

There are not as many cute outfits and accessories for boys, but I am in love with this little stud and his outfit!

Brielle...Sweet Sweet Girl

We laugh and are amazed by Brielle each day.  I haven't blogged about our conversations lately or some of her accomplishments, so here is a short run down:

- She has an outstanding memory (in fact she kicks our butts in the game Memory).
- She pretend plays all of the time.  We find her talking to her Barbies, babies, or animals.  She has a fantastic imagination and plays in her own world.  The conversations that take place are priceless.  Occasionally if she notices we have stopped to watch her she'll shout "stop looking at me".  ha!
- She is enrolled in kindergarten!  Who scored a 100 on her kindergarten entrance exam? BRIELLE!
- She currently has four goals: hair stylist, rock star, singer, and baker.
- She helps with her brother and loves him a lot!  We like asking her to tell us what he is thinking or 'saying'.  Her responses are quite hysterical.

Sleep mask...ha!  ha!

Pretending she was a singer and I was the judge.  She would give me my lines and then I would repeat what she said.  Too funny!

Big helper!  We love you sweet girl!

Literacy Night

I surprised Brielle at school with a JWE Literacy Night shirt, and she was surprised to find out I was taking her with me.  We had matching shirts which she thought was the coolest and a teacher called us 'Thing 1 and Thing 2'.  Brielle thought that was fantastic!

Hello Ladies!

I smile every time!  :)

Hair

What are we going to do with this unruly hair...
especially the patch in the back?

Snow Creations

Brielle climbed the mountains of snow that Grant shoveled.  In true climbing fashion she marked her journey with a flag.

This snowman was from the first snow.  It was too small for Brielle.  During the second snow, Grant and Brielle made two GIANT snowmen and a large snow castle.

Snow Day Fun

We finally got snow!  4 snow days in two weeks.  Brielle likes to get out in the snow right away.  She doesn't have much patience when it comes to snow.  That is a problem now since we have the little man.  However, she was just fine with playing in the snow alone.

The little man and I watched from the window.

Grant went out with Brielle in the afternoon, so she wasn't alone all day.  Grant tried to take her sledding at a real hill the next day, but she chickened out.  Grant thinks there was too many people.  Some friends around the corner built a small hill off their deck and Brielle loved sledding in their backyard.

So fun!

This guy can't wait to get out in the snow.

We made apple prints when Brielle was taking a break from the snow.

Hot cocoa is the perfect end to a snow day!

February 14th

I have no pictures of Valentine's Day and celebrating my dad's birthday.  Very sad.  Imagine heart balloons, V-day presents, and a giant chocolate cake.  That's what Brielle saw when she woke up.  Brielle had a blast giving her friends Valentines at school and opening all of her cards at home.  We celebrated Papa's birthday that night.  He requested fish and chocolate, so what could be better than scallops, shrimp, asparagus, quinoa, and a huge chocolate cake?  I'm so glad Aunt Dianne and Uncle Bob were able to eat dessert with us.  Happy birthday Dad!  We love you!

Good Morning!

Mornings are usually a bit of a rush, but sometimes we get to have a little fun!
Man...I love those cutie pies!
