"Helping" Grant with dinner is always a fun adventure!

It's a boy...

...for my brother and his wife Samantha!  We had a blast showering Baby Boy Fishburn.  Jake and Samantha are having a boy any day now.  We were so excited to throw them a shower.  Jake, Samantha, mom, dad, aunts, cousins, and friends all came over to celebrate.  Despite buying play dough that did not work (can you believe it?) everything was smooth and we all had fun.  We do wish we lived a bit closer so we could see everyone more often.  Thanks to all of the family members and friends that were able to come.  We can't wait to meet the new little guy in our family!

Carson's new best friend and cousin will arrive soon!
Priceless look for Carson!

Sledding

I'm a bit late posting this, but we did have snow in May so winter doesn't feel that long ago.  Crazy!  Brielle finally let Grant take her to the "big" hill to sled and she LOVED it!  I guess she marched up and down that hill almost a hundred times.  Grant had to convince her to come home.  Great job Brielle!

Baby Chicks

A wonderful kindergarten teacher at my school let Brielle bring some of her baby chicks to Brielle's preschool.  The teacher told her class that 5 chicks would be going on a field trip for the day.  It was too cute.  Brielle was excited to share these chicks with her classmates for one day.  Brielle's class was studying birds, so the timing worked out perfectly.

Easter

We had a super fun Easter weekend!  Unfortunately, I took zero pictures during the first part of our trip.  We stopped at my parent's house on the first day.  Carson got to play with all of my mom and dad's new baby toys.  They are pretty stocked with multiple swings, play mats, and more!  Carson enjoyed the new toys.  We got to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Fishburn, as well as Uncle Jim and Aunt Cindy.  After that stop, we headed to Lebanon.  We had a delicious Easter dinner with Great Grandma Klug, the Scheperles, and Matt, Jen, and the boys.  I actually have pictures to prove we were there and what a fun time we had!

Aunt Margaret giving Carson a lot of love.  He loved it!

Check out the aftermath of the Easter egg hunt!
I don't know what the face means.

Big family game of Uno.

Easter morning - what cuties!

Family pic!

Two cuties ready for church.  Then Carson decided he did not like guitars and I spent the entire service outside.  Not cool.

We can't go to Lebanon without visiting Bennett Springs.  Brielle loves feeding the fish.  We got to eat lunch with everyone including Scarlett, Patrick, and Raphael.

Playing with Great Grandma's toys!
Carson can't wait to join in the fun one day.

Happy Easter Great Grandma Klug!  See you soon!

Hunting eggs!

Ready to go!

Disney On Ice

We took Brielle to Disney On Ice at the Sprint Center.  It was everything she dreamed it would be.  We saw all of her favorites - Belle, Rapunzel, Brave, and Ariel.  This was quite a special outing with just the three of us.  Brielle was enthralled with the characters skating and was on the edge of her seat the whole time.  We met friends for a while afterwards.  What fun!

Henry's Birthday

Terrible picture, but this might be our last birthday with Henry.  Brielle and Henry will go to kindergarten at different schools next year.  While him mom and I will remain best friends they might not invite each other to birthday parties anymore. I guess we'll still have play dates and their wedding in 20 years.  Happy birthday Henry!  Brielle had a blast at your gymnastics birthday party!

Sibling Love

So far so good as far as the sibling thing goes.
Let's hope this continues!
No one can make Carson smile more than Brielle.  She just has to walk into the room and he lights up.  True story.
