We started the Thanksgiving holiday on Wednesday night by meeting Grant's cousin Noah and his wife Kristina at the T-Rex restaurant. Noah and Kristina have two adorable boys - Jack and Sam. Last time we tried to go to the T-Rex restaurant, it was not pleasant. There was a lot of clinging and screaming. This time she loved it, because of Jack. Jack loves dinosaurs. He was in paradise! We left around 9:00 which is already past B's bedtime. However, she didn't fall asleep the whole ride home in hopes of playing with Jack. Jack fell asleep even though Brielle was screaming "Jack" at the top of her lungs when Kristina brought him in from the car.
Thanksgiving Day was filled with:
Pancakes - of course Mickey Mouse shaped thanks to Grant
Macy's Parade - the Spider Man production was a favorite and we watched at least 5 times - then we were graced with two jumping spider men in the living room
Barbie Cake - Yes. Brielle has been planning a Thanksgiving Day barbie cake for several weeks. We made the strawberry cake with strawberry icing, pink sprinkles, pink flowers, and curly candles. Jack and Brielle took turns breaking eggs, stirring, pouring, etc.
"Happy Thanksgiving Day" song - Yes. We sang Happy Thanksgiving Day to You to Jack and Brielle. They blew out the candles. I think we have started a tradition.
Princess Dress-Up - Yes. Even Jack was a princess. We have the pictures to prove it.
